Converse recently received a Multiplatform Content Gold Award at the Digital Signage Expo (DSE) for work on Caterpillar's "Touchpoint"; tradeshow installation. The DSE is the world's largest international conference/award show dedicated to digital signage and interactive technology.
This award, presented to Converse and our partner Arsenal Media, is looked upon as a reference for key trends in digital signage, its different forms, and how they relate to today's multi-platform marketing strategies. Touchpoint was unveiled at MINExpo 2012 in Las Vegas. This installation features cutting-edge technology in the form of three 65-inch touch screen monitors and custom built computer servers used to display a digital program that allows users a personal, interactive, multi-touch experience that tells the Caterpillar Global Mining story. The installation has since been repurposed and is being used by Caterpillar at various trade shows around the world.
