Converse Marketing assisted the Archbishop Fulton J. Sheen Foundation in creating a book used to hold the Letters of Postulatoriae — letters of recommendation — written by Bishops and Archbishops to the Pope on behalf of Archbishop Fulton J. Sheen. Sheen’s Cause for Canonization as a saint in the Catholic church is currently being reviewed. Eight individual books were produced: one white book for the Pope and 7 red books for the Archbishops. The books were designed by Converse and handcrafted by a series of book artisans across the country. Each piece was crafted with extreme care — from the silk cover cloth and coordinating end sheets to the custom foil emboss. The white book was presented to the Pope at the Vatican in person by the Bishop of Peoria, Rev. Daniel R. Jenky.
